The Miskito king signs a land grant to MacGregor on the Mosquito Coast.
Gregor MacGregor and Poyais Acquitted
Gregor MacGregor sold bonds, land and passage to Poyais, a Central American country that did not exist. Most of the settlers who sailed there died.
